Zidisha is an international crowdfunding community designed to facilitate the raising of funds for business growth or educational purposes directly from its global members.

Upon the completion of a project, Zidisha encourages participants to "pay forward" the support they received by funding fellow members within the community.

This application is tailored for existing Zidisha members, allowing them to track payment schedules and engage with those who have financially supported their projects. New users must register at our website (https://www.zidisha.org) to utilize the app.

Benefits of Joining Zidisha:

• Inclusivity: Zidisha opens its doors to everyone, eliminating barriers such as collateral assets, bank accounts, guarantors, or salaried employment necessary for fundraising.
• Flexibility: Participants can choose their payment schedules and adjust them as necessary throughout the duration of their projects, with maximum timeframes varying from 62 to 180 days based on the funds raised.
• Community Engagement: Projects are funded by fellow Zidisha members rather than traditional banking institutions. This model fosters a supportive network of entrepreneurs and backers globally. Instead of repaying funds as loans, participants contribute by funding others' projects, with the option to select which members receive their payments through the fundraising platform.

Fundraising Limits:

The initial fundraising limit typically ranges from $10 to $300, contingent on the quality of applications and supporting documents. Participants can increase their limits based on their contributions to the community, with a maximum cap set at USD 10,000.

Participation Costs:

As part of the commitment to "pay forward" financial support to other projects, a portion of raised funds is reserved upon disbursement. Additionally, a service fee of 5% is applied to cover transaction costs and project administration (maximum APR: 80%).

At the conclusion of each project, members also have the opportunity to contribute additional funds to support other community projects.

Cost Examples:

• Ghana: A project totaling GHS 1,000 incurs a service fee of 10%, with GHS 900 disbursed and GHS 1,000 designated for future funding.
• Kenya: For a project amounting to KES 10,000, the member receives KES 9,000 after a 10% service fee deduction while committing KES 10,000 for future support.
• Nigeria: A project valued at NGN 50,000 will result in NGN 45,000 received by the member after a service fee deduction, alongside a pledge of NGN 50,000 for others.
• Zambia: A ZMW 2,000 project incurs a similar service fee structure; the member would receive ZMW 1,800 while paying forward ZMW 2,000.
